Reiki is a wonderful healing tool for every living thing, and most animals will respond to it in a very trustful way. It seems that animals tend to be more intuitive and in tune with their own health needs than we humans, and this, in turn, allows them to be very open and receptive to Reiki.

Sometimes a Reiki practitioner will draw animals to him/her because animals seem to sense that the energy being channeled by the practitioner can help them. Reiki can also be used for animals when they are feeling anxious or distressed by helping them to feel more calm and at ease. Even pets who are terminally ill will experience less discomfort and their life span may even be extended through Reiki treatments.

Since the practitioner does not use his or her own energy, the energy never gets depleted and, after giving the treatment, the practitioner usually feels better and stronger as well. During the treatment the practitioner does not diagnose the patient, and does not perform any purposeful manipulations (addition or removal of energy) of the patient's energy field. The only intention of the practitioner during the treatment is to be a pure conduit of healing energy.

Reiki is not meant to be a substitute for veterinarian health care. It works along side of the standard methods without interfering with them. It can readily improve the results.

Fees for Reiki for your pets: $25 per critter for Queens/Brooklyn and parts of Nassau County.
Manhattan: $35 per critter
Eastern Nassau County: $40 per critter

The length of the Reiki session depends upon each animal. Most sessions are about 15 minutes however some can be shorter or longer. I do not charge by the hour for pet sessions.

Distance Reiki is available for locations worldwide and is
also a wonderful option for pets that are hyper active or biters.
